The similarities between Tiger Woods and I are uncanny, we have the same body types, we hit power fades, we have Scotty Cameron putters, red is our favorite color and lastly, we won this Sunday for the first time in a very in a long time. We secured a spot on the Ryder Cup and moved up in the ranking category. This was a good win for me as defending champion to win this event again this year. Also, winning the Par Three Challenge two consecutive weeks has moved me up on the money list and got me in the top 5 in the league ranking. This was a very close tournament coming down to the wire between three players Steve Sachs, Khris Colbert and myself. Steve and I were in the same group and it was nip and tuck all the way until hole 16 where Steve made a snowman eight. Giving me a comfortable three-shot lead over Steve Sachs with only two to play and a two-shot lead over Khris Colbert, who was already in the clubhouse sitting on 73. So this tournament was mine if I could just not screw it up. Well, I three-putted 17 and flew the green on 18 right over the stick with my second shot from 140 out. I bladed it back over the green on my third and hit past the hole on my fourth giving me a fast 4 foot downhill bogey putt that could easily run past giving me a 7 to lose first and second place quicker than getting your Escalade's two back windows smashed out. The similarities are crazy right, well just like Tiger when the putt has to go down, it does and it did. Securing the third victory of my career and just a few behind Tiger, crazy similarities just crazy. Well, this is the part in the article where I congratulate the winner and mention what a great win, but you all have heard enough of my self-glorification in one article.
