VINCENT GILMORE

MOMMA THERE GOES THAT MAN AGAIN!

Vincent is on a role, he is smoking hot, he is on fire! Back to back wins for Mr. Nice Guy maybe that big smile and friendly personality is just a facade, maybe this kid is a stone cold-blooded killer. What other explanation could it be the way he played this Sunday at Cypress Lakes. No one was even close we only played nine holes because of the weather, that was mercy rain that the number one rank player Ronnel Calixterio, the Hall of Famer Jamie Villarreal and the Captain Roland Turner all were trying to conjure up to stop the beatdown Vincent was giving them. Vincent came real close to hitting the elusive almost mythical golden quadfecta he won the tournament, the par three challenge, the deuce game and two-thirds of the skins game pot. He pretty much won everything  Congratulations Vincent on your James Harden performance.

STEVE SACHS

OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR

This was a four-man race that was as close as it could get, 3 shots separated first from fourth. With dark clouds looming it was imperative to get in the lead at the turn. Leslie Jones was among the four top players which we were surprised to see after he was in the hospital for a week less than a month ago and also was surprised Jarrod Ballou he was in a bad car wreck where 2 cars hit him and injured his back. Both are as tough as nails and the kind of guys who you would want in your foxhole. Congratulations Jarrod and Leslie on your third place finish, to me you both are winners. The other two players who finished first and second was Chris Allen and Steve Sachs they mirrored each other shot for shot, they both are an 11 handicap and hole number 5 was the difference Steve parred Chris bogeyed the hole. Chris had a chance to win on nine, but a costly 3 putt would give Steve his second victory of the year and put him in a good position for the Ryder Cup in October. Congratulations again Steve on your second win of the season you are off to a great start with the League.
